Award winning eatery “TASTE of the Trossachs” snapped up more prestigious awards at The World Championship Scotch Pie Awards 2017.  

Their succulent “MacSween’s Haggis & Steak Pie” and “Taste of The Trossachs” pride and joy “Breakfast Pie” were both awarded  Diamond Awards – the highest possible accolade.  The “Breakfast Pie” also stole the show and won the MacLean’s Cup for the Best Savoury Pie. 

“Taste of the Trossachs” is a family-run business in Callander’s Main Street.  It opened in March 2012 and this is only their 2nd year of entering The World Scotch Pie Championships.  In 2016 they won a Gold Award in the Hot Savoury category for their “Steak Mince & Red Onion Pie”.

Owners, David and Rachel Stewart, are delighted with their Diamond Awards, and say the secret of their success is “hard work, creativity and – most importantly – quality.”
