Activities

COVID 19

Callander is looking forward to welcoming visitors back this summer.  Please stay safe, follow social distancing and mask wearing guidelines, take your litter home and respect our local community. Thank you.

There is an abundance of outdoor activities for you to enjoy in Callander.

Keen outdoor enthusiasts can make use of the miles of cycle paths and walkways throughout the Trossachs. For those who enjoy more rugged terrain there are ample opportunities to take mountain bikes off road or to simply run through the forests.

Hill climbing is another popular visitor pastime, with Ben Ledi looking particularly inviting from Callander’s Main Street. Slightly further afield there is a selection of Munros (hills over 3,000 feet) waiting to be conquered – Ben Vorlich and Ben Lomond to name just two.

Birdwatchers can try and spot birds of prey such as Red Kites, Golden eagles and Ospreys, whilst wildlife enthusiasts can keep an eye out for Red Deer, Roe Deer, Pine Martens, Otters and Red Squirrels.
